Rodrigo de la Calle is the new National Award for Healthy Gastronomy. A chef with Michelin Star, both in his first restaurant in Aranjuez, and now in El Invernadero, his most personal project located in the mountains of Madrid. He is a lover of vegetables, the promoter of the so-called green revolution and who will teach us today to enjoy the temporality of vegetables to get the most potential.
“Superfoods are composed of different ingredients, vitamins and minerals, but compared to other vegetables, they have multiplied by a thousand the same ingredients, vitamins and minerals” explains Rodrigo.
We reviewed a list of 20 superfoods that will surprise you:
Acai, all purple parts have a huge amount of phytochemicals that kill cancer cells. And they are super antioxidants.
Rice protein, 80% vegetable protein.
Cocoa butter, with Omega 3, 6 and 9. The seed also has a lot of fiber.
Camu camu has 50 times more vitamin C than orange.
Hemp seeds have Omega 3, 6 and 9. In addition to a lot of zinc.
